Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American musician, rapper, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs under Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and [3] and one self-titled EP in 2014. Mansion was his first major label album. It was released March 31, 2015. The second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It ranked 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many accolades, including: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF became a mainstream hit through Perception in the year 2017. The album charted on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" hit number twelve on the. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe and was a top ten single. The Search, his sequel to the album that became a hit, also was a commercial hit. Feuerstein said that rap was the only way to escape from life of his childhood. Feuerstein would record songs on a karaoke machine. He recorded instrumentals and sang on one microphone. On the 29th of November 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. He released his first single, "Alone", on August 2nd, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt as the song's producer and songwriter, appeared in the song. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. On May 2, 2012 he released his debut extended play , I'm Free, with the production of Profitt. The album's tracklist contained nine tracks which included "Alone". The EP also included the exclusive version of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist teased for the release of their self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein broke off from the label following a dispute and the release of NF was put off. NF was accompanied by a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1 On the 4th of November in 2013, he released the single "Beautiful Addiction", which was released on November 4. Profitt also appeared on the track. The track featured vocals from Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz
