Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. Her most well-known work is her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (from). The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial hardships within her family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She earned an GED and then went to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
